Schnitzels were really good. You get two schnitzels per order. Red cabbage was good. Potato salad was pretty good. Staff is very friendly.

The owners put love and care into the food here, and you can taste the difference. Love the knockwurst, the weisswurst, the potato salad and the Friday fish fry. Really, everything is good here. Small place on Rt 1 South on the northern edge of New Smyrna Beach. See you there!

Best place to eat in NSB. Great food.

Very good food and people are friendly and very accommodating. The owner was quick to point out other places to get different kinds of food apart from hers. But it is some of the most delicious German food I've ever eaten.

Cozy place with great food. Came across it by accident. All the food is homemade, no processed food served here. Never had warm potato salad before, but the taste of this one was absolutely wonderful. Of course everything else was as well. The owner and her daughter are very friendly, even gave us pointers of other restaurants that had good food. The place is easy to get to, has a bar attached in the back, for those of you who like to eat after drinking. :-) Definitely recommend the place.

Awesome authentic German foods the best German potato salad I've ever eaten. Amazingly enough it doesn't end there. They also have the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had I live in Key West for a number of years experience some awesome Cuban Foods throughout Florida. Trust me when I tell you that Cuban sandwich they make is something you need to experience I highly recommend you trying a meal at the brat House Restaurant.

My wife and I came in here today for a to-go lunch. The woman who helped us (the owner) was extremely nice. We both loved our food and will certainly come back. It was clean, excellent service, and excellent food. Price is right on par for what you'd expect.

1st time at Brat Haus. Wife & I took our granddaughter to dinner at a place of her choosing. Food was great at a very reasonable price. Waitress was very informative & attentive. We'll be back!

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant, my wife and I drove down from Daytona beach for the Friday fish fry was amazing..very clean and friendly. My wife is insisting that we go back for the cabbage roll.

One of the nicest dining experiences that we have had in a long time. I had the cabbage rolls and they tasted exactly as I make! (I am from Southeastern WI also). My friend had the schnitzel and that was amazing as well. Our server was a young man who told us he normally works the back but is learning the front. He could not have been more gracious and just the right amount of attentive. Can't wait to go back and try the brats

Too small, terrible service. Had to wait 45 minutes for food because they had to feed the drunks in bar out back first. Food was ok when we finally got it.

Dont get me wrong this place has great food. I get carry out most days for lunch. But not anymore. As I walked out a woman and her son parked right in the handicap spot without a hang tag or a license plate. Both perfectly healthy and walking to the door. I stopped and said in a nice voice "you know there are parking spots just on the side" she then snaps at me and responds "excuse me, I own the place" well guess what. You lost my business and get this review. Self entitlement is ridiculous these days. You wanna park there? Dont make it a handicap spot. Garbage owner.

We had a dinner party here and the food was awesome! I had the pork brat with onions and German potato salad, both were delicious. The brat was very tasty and in its natural casing which gave it a crispy snap with every bite. The potato salad was sweet and tasty. My wife had the pork schnitzel and it was also delicious. I highly recommend the cheese curds. The service was very good. Thank you Ms. Kim, we will be back to experience more authentic German dishes!

Absolutely the finest authentic German cuisine in New Smyrna. Reasonable prices and Kim the owner waited on us. We will be back.

So glad they are open! Just left and all we could say was WOW! Excellent friendly service, food was fresh and absolutely delicious with generous portions. We found this place in the Volusia Dining Guide while visiting Daytona Beach and do not regret choosing it. This will now be a must on our next visit.

This is the epitome of the mom-and-pop type business, except in this case it's only mom. Just a great little place, with very good food. Somewhat limited menu, but what's there is good.

Wow! If you come hungry you won't be when you leave. The food is delicious and the portions hearty. The place is small but has a great decor and it's very clean. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Save room for the homemade apple dumpling.

A hidden gem off Highway 1. A must stop place when anywhere close.

The service, food was bad. The place was clean. I went there for a special of fried fish plate for $9.95. When I got it, the fries were good, but the 2 piece fish were extra large and extra crispy fish sticks. The wait staff never came out of the back to check on us until the bill came. I'll never go back.

My wife and I recently had occasion to stop for dinner at The Brat Haus, New Smyrna Beach. It was our first visit there and we couldn't be more pleased with the hospitality, cleanliness and attention to quality. Wisconsin natives Kim and Lauren (mother/daughter) own and operate the place. Lauren sat us and gave us the 411 on their menu. Their sausages are proprietarily made locally from their family’s recipes. We had bratwurst and a polish sausage that were deliciously huge with a very fine grind. The side of German potato salad, “grandma’s recipe,” was even better. Kim came out of the kitchen to greet us and to make sure we were satisfied. The food was superbly authentic and we enjoyed the visit — a highly recommended Brat Haus experience.

I’m from Brat country...Wisconsin. And so is the owner. Which is why this place is the real deal! Great sausages, cheese curds and everything is fresh made here. Excellent place!
